November 18, 2021 Honest, good companyBeen in the trucking industry for 8+ years now and have been with Continental for 4 of them. Yeah they aren't perfect, but no company is. There are good days and bad days, but that is life. The pay is great, the dispatchers honestly care about you, and the equipment is in good shape. While you do get asked to run hard, that is because there is too much freight and not enough drivers. If you are a serious driver i would recommend to drive here, if not don't waste your time. |

November 18, 2021 Company with great communication and payContinental is a great company to work for. Dispatch is excellent, they actually listen, and load assignments are clear enough. I generally don’t have to contact anyone at the office more than once or twice a week. Equipment is exceptional and both trucks and trailers are very well maintained. Most loads are out and back so I get by the house often enough for my ten hour break I really don’t need to take much time off. Money is very good if you aren’t afraid of work, and it is consistently good. |

November 18, 2021 Great company to work forWell, it's trucking so there isn't a typical day past hooking to a trailer and moving it from A to B. Roads, traffic and other motorists change constantly. I'll explain the workplace here like I have before; small town farm. It's got a small town feel and a bunch of old farmers run it. So far I've seen them listen to drivers, many of them have a few miles themselves. Management is normally right behind a counter in a big open space and most people are on a first name basis. I've talked face to face with everyone from the head of safety to the lead load planner. Whole company is chill if you just do your job. |

November 18, 2021 A company that goes the extra mileContinental gave me several chances when other companies would have thrown the book at me or not even hired me in the first place. They help you avoid things as simple as road closures and go that extra mile for their employees and safety. |

November 18, 2021 Professional CompanyI started my CDL career with continental express. They are one of the most organized and professional companies I’ve worked for. Everyone at the headquarters in Sidney, OH is very professional and great communicators. Their truck service shop is always busy fixing and maintaining the trucks, and dispatchers know you by name and are willing to work with you regarding specific needs. Would definitely recommend this company to new and experienced CDL drivers. |
