June 30, 2017 Truck DriverI give them one star they deserve none. I have been a truck driver OTR, for 26 years and never have I been like a dog in my life. I was lied to, cussed out and ignored from day one. The first truck they offered was so filthy I turned it down the second one was a little better but not by much. I was threatened with fines from not calling in to not answering my phone when I was asleep. I was fined for not picking a product the customer canceled, I was fined $500 to clean a truck that was cleaner when I left it then when I took the key which everyone had the same door lock so anyone could unlock your door. The pay was as I was told only if I dropped a trailer at the yard for a repower to FL I got paid when that driver returned from FL. More than once I was left setting on a load because someone forgot to make an appointment. Or just simply forgotten about On return loads it could take as long as 12 to 14+ hours to load they then expected you to make the delivery 1 1/2 days later did not care about legal logs or not. Told several times to lie on my logs. Do not even consider going to work there the only good thing about working for Phoenix they provided the lose leaf logs free of charge. |
