October 03, 2018 DriverRecently applied at Valley Express to lease on as an owner operator the woman Stacy and safety and recruiting who took care of my application was extremely rude and arrogant she acted as though she was doing me some kind of favor by allowing me to submit the application. Valley has an excellent reputation in the West and the Billings office has great people working in it. my application was rejected as I had had too many jobs in 10 years and I have had a lot of jobs I have worked for some lousy trucking companies. However I'm also an extremely good driver with 31 years experience and a good safety record she also cited that I had multiple her words log violations. I had 3 log violations over the last three years for not being current the last one was a year-and-a-half ago in the other two were almost 3 years ago. She also became confrontational and aggressive demanding to know why the d o t picked on me so much in her words. She started counting off the inspections I had getting to 11 apparently in 3 years as though it Were Somehow my fault. I understand valleys reasons for rejecting application however it did not give her any excuse to be rude and disrespectful towards somebody who put in application although I guess I must have dodged a bullet because if this is the way someone in recruiting acts it is a reflection on the rest of the company |
